I'm a mother, wife, quilter, fine art painter, operations director, photographer, former ad exec, CrossFitter, continuous student, and maker-of-things. I've decided if I think I can do it, then I can. I love working with color in any form and creating items that will be around for generations. When I become passionate about something, I dive in 100%. When I fell in love with quilting, I knew that eventually I would have to learn how to long arm quilt, because I love having control of every step of a project. So, here we are, I own Boba Quilting where I am able to share my passion with several other amazing women. Hi....I have been sewing for 40+ years. Early on it was mostly garments, home décor, household items and crafts. In 2012, I took up quilting and have since made hundreds of quilts for friends, family and charitable causes. It wasn’t long before I realized that in order to continue with my newly found passion of quilting, I would have to learn to long arm. I had the opportunity to learn at a local retailer in 2015. The retailer decided to discontinue their rental program in 2018. This is when I discovered Genevieve and Boba Quilting collective. I have been long arming in the collective since 2018. I enjoy every aspect of quilt making and love to finish them myself. Over the years I found that many people do not complete projects due to the high cost for some long arm services. I think it is a shame not to complete the quilt and share it or enjoy it yourself. I decided I would like to offer a low-cost solution to help you realize the joy of sharing a "hug" with someone special.
